But, how do you make sure potential customers are able to find you when they search for the products or services you offer? One option to help increase your visibility on search engines is to pay for ads. The way to do this on Google, which is the top search engine, is to start a Google AdWords campaign.

What is Google AdWords?

Google AdWords is a type of paid advertising that can help people find your website through a Google search. You choose keywords that are related to your business and website. Then, when someone searches for related topics or keywords your ad will show up near the top of the page.

There is a cost-per-click, or CPC, which means you are charged when someone clicks on your ad. You can set a max price you are willing to pay per click so you do not bust your marketing budget if you get a large number of clicks in one day.

There are a few different options for managing your AdWords campaign. You have the option of managing the campaign on your own. Google offers a service that is called AdWords Express where you can set a few parameters and then allow them to manage your account. You can also hire a Google Certified Partner which could be a person or agency that has been certified by Google to manage AdWords accounts.

Why run a Google AdWords campaign?

The ultimate goal of any marketing campaign is to increase sales. When someone is looking for a product or service you offer, it is important that your website comes up in their search. There are a couple different ways to increase the likelihood that your website will show up through Google searches-organically and through paid advertising.

You can improve your organic (unpaid) ranking by constantly creating quality content and including relevant keywords throughout your website. High organic ratings on search engines take time and effort to develop. Even with your best efforts, your website may not populate near the top of the Google results page. This is especially true if your business is in a highly saturated or competitive industry. Using Google AdWords is a way to get your website near the top of the search engine results. Your website will only show up for relevant searches to make it more likely that the people seeing your ad are actually potential customers.

What are the cons of using Google AdWords?

Using AdWords does not guarantee that potential customers will click on your website. You still have to choose appropriate keywords to increase the likelihood that your ad will show up on searches. In addition, you have to do a good job of writing your ads and managing the campaign.

It is possible to run an effective AdWords campaign but it will take some work. The important thing to remember is that an AdWords campaign should not replace your efforts to rank high in the search engines organically. The combination of organic content creation and paid advertising, such as Google AdWords, can greatly increase the traffic to your website.
